Networking Dinner (Sept. 24th)

Juniors and Seniors! Here is another reminder about the upcoming Networking Dinner. This is an awesome opportunity to meet recruiters and find internships and jobs! We have a lot of companies coming that are excited to talk with our students. Sign up soon as it is a first come first serve basis. Please note: If you sign up it is expected that you will attend. Do not sign up until you know that you can and will attend. We are very excited for this year's dinner!

You will need to send an updated PDF version of your resume to byuasce@gmail.com. There is a link to this email on the sign up sheet. In your email just put as the Subject: Networking Dinner Resume. We need your resumes no later than Wednesday, September 18th at midnight so that we have time to assemble them into a packet to hand out to the recruiters a few days before the event.

A few other details about the event:

1. The evening will be broken up into three different blocks: the first hour will be a dinner catered by CostaVida. You will be seated a table with the company of your choice for the duration of the meal. The next hour will consist of 4, 15 minute rotations where students will have the opportunity to visit the tables of 4 other companies and ask questions. The last hour will be set aside as a mingle period for those recruiters and students who wish to continue to visit. 
2. Dress for Success! Do not show up in casual attire as it may reflect poorly on you and our program. The minimum standard for this event will be business casual, no jeans. But keep in mind that there may be some companies who would appreciate a more professional attire. Do your research and dress to impress for the companies you are targeting. 
3. Do your research beforehand. Attached to this email is a list of the companies attending. Start looking at their websites now! You will benefit the most by being prepared with specific questions for specific companies, and recruiters like to see that students have done some research about them beforehand. A detailed list with company names and information will be sent closer to the event. 
4. Please do not bring spouses, significant others, or any one else. We simply don't have the space for anyone other than the students who sign up to come.
