2018 Discover STEM Fair
We need volunteers to run the ASCE booth at the Discover STEM Fair on Saturday
February 24th. We need three volunteers for each of the three
hours. The Discover STEM fair is where we organize booths for sixth, seventh, and eighth
graders in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) to show
them how fun STEM fields can be. The child protection training is required for all students
who will be volunteering at the event. It's a quick 20 minute online course to ensure all kids
who visit BYU campus will be safe. You can find this on my.byu.edu under the "Work" tab
on the right-hand side of the page. Click on the "Y-Train" page and search "Child Protection
Training". It is free to enroll in the course.
Every person who will be present at the event needs to do this training.
