Technical Paper for Rocky Mountain Conference
Topic: "Limiting the number of credits needed to graduate with a bachelors in civil
engineering from an accredited university with the desired outcome of more
master’s degrees in civil engineering. Do you agree or disagree? Why or why
not?"

Non-Technical Paper for Rocky Mountain Conference
Topic: "Should the Engineer of Record (who has sealed a set of plans) be held responsible, to any degree, for injury or death to builders or bystanders that occurs during the construction of his/her design?"
BYU Award: Free trip to Rocky Mountain Conference to present paper (about $130)
Eligible for National Award: Up to five winners will receive cash prizes (1st place $1000, 2nd place $800, 3rd place $600, 4th place $400, 5th place $200).
