Service Opportunities

Stadium Cleanup

          Hello Everyone!

The second stadium cleanup service opportunity is coming up on SATURDAY, OCTOBER 19. We will meet at portal T on the south-east end of the south stand of Lavell Edwards Stadium when there are 5 minutes left on the game clock. This is anticipated to be between 11:30pm and 12:30am. It is likely that you will get wet from the waist down, so please come dressed appropriately.  It will be chilly. We anticipate that it will take about three hours to clean the entire stand.

Remember that you can earn ALL THREE service points for seminar this semester by coming to just ONE stadium cleanup. When you get there, please find me to check-in. I'll be keeping track of attendance at the cleanup. It's important that I get an accurate representation of those who were there to help out. Please be sure to sign the attendance log.

If you plan on attending RMC 2020 next semester, this activity can help offset travel costs.

The first 30 people to RSVP by filling in their name and contact information on this spreadsheet are guaranteed a spot. If you need to cancel, you will be expected to find a replacement.

Please contact me if you have any questions.

Stadium Clean-Ups are starting this week! Help ASCE get funding by cleaning the football stadium after each home game.  This is the fastest way to get ALL 3 service points in one night.  The first home game will be this Saturday, September 8th; we need about 15-20 people each game, so please don’t all wait till the last one. Sign up in the link below:

Stadium Clean-up starts at the end of each game and usually lasts 3-4 hours. Those that sign-up will receive more details the week of the game. If there are any questions, please contact the ASCE Officers:

*For those interested in attending 2019 Rocky Mountain Conference: Due to much higher prices around the University of Colorado Boulder, attendance at 3 Stadium Clean-ups this year will cover the costs of travel and hotel (about $130-$150). Everyone attending the conference will pay for their own registration (about $75-$80). There will be 6 home games this semester.
