ITE Student Chapter Opening Social

The speaker will be: Chad Eccles, a Planner for the Mountainland Association of Governments (MAG)
Topic: Transportation plans that led to the current I-15 CORE Project.
Refreshments will be there, so you should be too!

ASCE Activities
BYU ASCE Opening Social
Thursday, January 20th at 6:00 p.m.
Game night...PS3 Call of Duty...Whatever you want to play! Let us know!
There will be a Wii, ping pong, and go ahead and bring your favorite game.
Will there be food...? YES!! why did you even ask?
Cost: $1.00

For all those that would like to help with teaching bridge building for balsa bridge competition:
A mandatory review session will take place on Tuesday, the 18th at 4pm in the CE conference room with Dr. Richards.

The Canstruction team for Rocky Mountain Conference is now forming.
This is for all of you who love ffod, in fact, you will be building a monument out of food!

FE Review

He needs to get a head-count of those interested.
Aaron will be sending out information to those who email him.
The deadline for registration is February 18th.

Rocky Mountain Conference

The Rocky Mountain Conference Papers Submission Deadline (for both technical and nontechnical papers) is February 25. These need to be e-mailed to rmcbyu@gmail.com. If you have any questions about these papers, email Keelan or Liz at the same address.

Mead paper deadline is March 1. For information on this paper, go to http://www.asce.org/Content.aspx?id=21564. This is the same paper as the nontechnical paper for Rocky Mountain Conference, and prizes of up to $1000 are awarded for this paper.

Rocky Mountain Conference signup deadline is February 1, after which a $10 late fee will be assesed. The cost is 100 dollars, which includes travel, hotel, conference registration, and some meals. Sign up in the CE office.

  • United Way Day On January 17 Help needed starting at 8:00 Meet at the Wilk for a day of community service.
  • Habitat For Humanity Next 3 Saturdays

  • There are also many opportunities at local elementary schools.
