Career Fair (Service Points)
Help out with the BYU career fair to gain service points and make valuable networks with professionals. It will be held September 21st (Tuesday) and September 22nd (Wednesday). Please sign up in room 242 CB. Remember to distinguish that you’ll be representing ASCE on the sign-up form.
Prof. Magleby will be holding a review session for CE En 103 and Dr. Williams will be holding a review session for chemistry. These are in preparation for the FE Review. They will be held this Wednesday and Thursday respectively at 5:00 pm in room 406 CB.
T-Shirt Competition (Prize)
Come up with the best design for this year’s ASCE t-shirt and win $50! Designs must be submitted to firstname.lastname@example.org by Oct. 1st.
Seminar Drawing (Prize)
If you follow ASCE news on Twitter, Facebook, or its new blog, you will be in a drawing to win a prize given each seminar. New Twitter and Facebook followers will be in the drawing, as will those who comment on the blog posts.

ASCE will be holding a BBQ for Homecoming on Saturday, October 9th at 1:00 pm. Come for good food and a good time.
Webinar (Activity Point)
On Tuesday, September 21st the national ASCE organization will be holding a nation-wide “webinar”. The topic will be discussing the many possible career paths within civil engineering and deciding which is right for you. The deadline to sign up is Thursday, September 16th in the CE office. The secretaries will give you a code for free access. You must be an ASCE member to participate.
If you are not a member, need to renew your membership, or don’t know what ASCE is, talk to the secretaries in the CE office or sign up online at http://www.et.byu.edu/groups/byuasce/. Rates will be as follows: $5/year for 1st time seminar students and $7/semester or $10/year for returning students.
